Are we really supposed to be in constant Moving and Doing?

Knowing to Move and to Stop accordingly to our Energy Levels

You are probably familiar with the saying “Life is a tough period”, and I assume we find it easier to identify with even more lately.

So, I set a goal to find ways to remind myself, and hopefully to you too, that life is also beautiful, enriching, exciting, and, if you will, even sometimes, an easy period. I mean, we all have situations and moments in which things simply move smoothly and there’s a feeling of harmony and flow, that everything is in its right place and accurate, even without our ‘blood, sweat and tears’ 😉

It's also said that “if you search, you find”, so I have found today, during my morning walk, the windmills reminding me of the importance of Moving and Doing in according with the available levels of energy.

“All in, with full power”, “Giving it all”, etc., are positively intended phrases, and yet, are not suitable for every situation, and we also cannot give more than we have, or do stronger than the power / energy that we have.

I find the example of exercising to be the clearest – if we exercise & workout too much – too strong, too fast, too long – we will just end up too tired, and maybe even harm and hurt our joints, ligaments and muscles, which will force us to rest for a longer time till our next workout, and then instead of ‘moving a step forward’ in our physical shape, we will find ourselves a step, even two, backwards. When we workout too little, we lack the sense of satisfaction, the feeling of physical strengthening, maybe even end up feeling restless at the end of the workout. Just like when we stay on the sofa in front of the TV, while we actually want to do something else, AND have the energy to do it, but something stops us – maybe mentally, maybe external circumstances, versus the feeling of acceptance and at peace with ourselves after staying on the sofa to rest, because we were tired, and then got up with renewed powers.

When we ‘move’ in accordance with our energy levels, we end up filled with energies and content from the movement, we feel satisfied, pleased, useful and effective, and then we have even more power to do, to give, to create, and we also have the space to pay attention when to stop, because ‘our batteries’ are running out, and it’s time to recharge in different ways of rest and nutrition.

Even God created the world step by step, one day at a time, with different levels of effort, strength, and intensity, and with different daily outcomes, that are not comparable. And when “he was finished, he took a day off to rest.” 😊

And in the frame of another saying – “Everything is Possible”, I took myself on a 3 months’ journey, on my own, to my Greek fairies’ island, which I don’t have the right to live here permanently, since I wasn’t born with the right passport, but which feels like home to me. My fertile ground. So, I came for as much as permitted, as I am, to do and to create my changing best, with what I have, that is also changing 🙂

Hope you will enjoy accompanying me 💖🩵🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️💚💙

Have a weekend of peace and rest 🤗💙🤍💙😇
